Title: Boyesen water pump pointless?

So im looking at buying a second hand boyesen water pump for my kx250
But does not come with the impellar , would this be a pointless purchase considering Boyesen will not sell me the impellar seperate?
Or does it make no difference?

We have one on our 04 KX250 and it didnt come with an impellar. We bought it new.

Hmmmmmmm! I was under the impression they did.
Ahhhh, well thanks for the tip and are they a good upgrade especially for two strokes?

Seems to run cooler...maybe. Certainly doesnt hurt anything.

Are they made from alluminium or magnesium?

Aluminium , also they do come with an impeller when bought new
