Title: First ride of the season
Post by: justreal on May 21, 2015, 04:09:08 AM
Well Im loading up for my first ride of the season and to be honest first ride in quite some time. So a little bit of shake down and rechecking settings. Will post some pictures upon return. Its been raining here for what seems like a month, we even had about 10 inches of snow on mothers day but an "executive" decision was made "rain or shine" its been waaayyy to long. So Im off for a bit of "time behind bars" ,, handle bars that is.  :-D

Have fun and be safe!  We've doubled our rainfall average for the year in Oklahoma, so I hear you on the rain.  It makes the riding a bit challenging.  I went out last weekend and got mine pretty dirty:

Of course riding in those conditions also makes you feel like Super Hunky riding the Blackwater 500 (if that doesn't make me sound too old :-D).

Thanks it really is nice lots of trails ranging from easy to expert the pics dont really show how wet it was. (http://i.imgur.com/NxshBFN.jpg)  This rock is almost verticle for about 15 feet with a very short approach once on top there is a sharp left and a long steep of camber climb on another rock definately need good throttle control or its a rough tumble back down
