you mean the fact that its missing or the uglies for the head bolts

Sorry Don.
I fixed it...
The reason we got the bike is because it kept blowing head gaskets and the guy didn't know why  :-D

Are you serious?  the one, I hesitate to call it a stud, looks like all thread. when you hear sometimes people attempting to undertake certain jobs you cringe, having done it yourself you know it is not for the inexperienced.

Yeah it looks like all thread to me.
Some of the Heli coils or threaded inserts are sticking up almost .060" above the deck.
I feel bad for the guy but It's hard to believe he couldn't figure out the problem.
Oh well, there are about 60 or so guys out there that will be happy he couldn't figure it out  :-)

Well, I guessed wrong... I thought it was missing the JB Weld that should have been smeared all over the sealing surface and piston crown area!  :-P

that looks realy like a drunken blacksmith engine repair...  and that he could not figure out as the main problem ?!?   :-o

some people could not see the woods behind the big tree ...  :-D
