Here is some CVT transmission that supposed to be super duper.
Looks ingenious anyways.

I came across it when looking for the dimensions of MC chain sizes:

What I want to know is how are you supposed to change speeds on the thing. Looking at the picture
it looks like it just stores the energy in the gyro.


I remember reading in a old popular science mag that there was some prototype F1 car that used a gyro to store the energy from a turbine that turned the it [gyro] at a near 100k rpm and could store the energy from braking IIRC.
