Kx 60 pipe question
« on: November 02, 2011, 02:12:36 PM »
I have a 1986 60 and wanted to buy a performance pipe for it. Some of the ones on ebay say 1988- 2004 and some say different years. Can i use a pipe for the 88-04 bikes or do i have to find an 86? Thanks in advance.

if you can get a bills pipe on ebay go with that one its cheaper simple because they dont make them anymore and they are very good pipes the pros used them. if you are looking at you will get better response from the kx60 with a carb off of a kx80 but it needs to be 26mm. if you want to go futher kx60s are know for not having much bottom end power if you wanted to fix that then you need to go with a big bore kit that impove alot.

Thats the whole reason i started this thread. I saw a Bill's pipe on ebay for $80 buy it now but wanted to make sure it would fit. I have a Bill's on my 86 tecate and know that they made good products. I'm 27 years old and about 200 pounds and just like to mess around on the 60, not really looking to spend a bunch but i can't turn down a good deal. I'll definitely keep the 80 carb in mind though, sounds like cheap easy power.
