well didnt see where this was talked about so i thought i would ask. i am doing harescrambles next year. my question is out of the k5's which one would you buy? in my head i am thinking the one with the 250 af frame. so i am looking for opinions and what to do to make it a harescramble bike persay.

im assuming its the same as an enduro in the uk, ive done loads over here in the uk ,think a 500s a bit of a handfull in the woods and youl be using the clutch....alot . 3 hours is a long time holding on to a 500 .
i used a kx250 and then a kxf250 both in the over 40 expert class the kxf didnt quite have the legs on the flat out open parts but made up in the woods etc even the kx250 was tough after the two hour mark ,what ever you decide on its got to be superlight with a large fuel tank .the kx250 had a large tank did one stop ,the kxf had a standard tank and did one stop !
ultimate combos got to be a 500 in a kxf250 frame with a flywheel wieght to tame the monster .
