kx60 question

well i am going to a big bore on a kx60 and i heard that the kx80 carb works the best. does it matter which year of carb i get.

  I have read the same, about the 80 carb..
   Not only on the big bore but as an upgrade.  If you can look over the carb it would be helpful.
The slide clean of nicks or peeling of the chrome.  A good sealing needle jet ( fuel needle) and good looking floats.

i know there are differnt years of kx80 carbs just didnt know if it mattered what year to get. i will be sending it to jd jetting.

can you make a kx60 a big wheel. my sons problem is he is short i have added extra padding to his seat but alittle more would be good. hes not even close to being able to sit on a 85. is there any difference with a kx60 tire and a kx65 tire.

 If you snoop around some of the bikes "specificatons "pages you should be able to find out the wheel sizes and seat height.
