Wooding Out a KX125
« on: November 02, 2011, 01:19:02 PM »
I'm considering buying a 2005 KX 125 for my daughter to ride in hare scrambles and woods events.  I sold the RM100 she had long out grew (he is every bit of 5"8" and maybe 105lbs.  I had installed a 10 ounce flywheel weight in the RM but that's the only modification besides some handlebar risers I did.  Anyone out there have any experience trying to make a 125 more adaptable for woods riding?  I already have a hybrid I built using an 05 Kx frame and an 03 KDX220r motor but I'm not really ready to give it up and I was hoping I could use the 125 motor and maybe hold the weight down?
