where can i find the specs for a 85 kx250? is it a kips engine?

Just ask away, I'm not too sure there is a place that will have the complete specs but I imagine this forum can get you close. As far as the 1985 KX250 it is a KiPS engine.

Im fairly sure the KIPS system was introduced in 86.

The 1985 KX250 was the first KX250 with K.I.P.S.  You can look on www.buykawasaki.com to see the parts diagrams.
