noob, need help! front brake?

hello, just got a set of excel spoke wheel set for my STOCK 2002 kx500. take in mind its not a steel frame. wanting to convert to sumo. what bracket and caliper do i need for the front wheel. i know the stock caliper is not worth using. thanks.

I have not heard the caliper is no good. The master cylinder could use an upgrade to something newer. The caliper on my 01 is the same as my buddies 07 yz 450 except for the mount bracket. A common upgrade is a newer 450 master cylinder. Good luck!

mine with the 08 450 brakes... standard size rotor (MX size) will do a stoppie no problem with the 17" SM wheels and tires on it...
