« on: September 04, 2011, 06:48:14 PM »
Well the tear down begins on a bike i will probably never ride after i get it restored because im afraid of it but what the hell. Here i snapped some photos just to get it started and motivate me follow it through. Here the frame is all but basically stripped down and the motor is out and getting ready to get boxed for shipping to get rebuilt

don't be afraid, it's only as fast as you twist it!
And lo, I did loft the front wheel and carried it forth to the unbelievers, and cast it down before them and said unto them ''look now upon the might of my throttle control ye pitiful cretinous ones''
And the unbelievers did quake in their boots....

X2

Once you get used to it the power actually saves you "ALOT". Being able to raise the front tire on a whim clears most of the wipeout stuff. I shook like a dog passing peach pits everytime I started my first 500. It wore off after a month or 2 & now I cant stand anything slower. Giv'er a twist you'll love it.

Looking forward to your progress

Noticed the quadzilla plastic, I've always wanted to ride one. You should post up some pics of it.

Zilla's are hella fun. I've had 2. The only downside to mine were that they were always needing jetting changes because of humidity or temp. Also they have a very wide stance and don't fit through most atv trails up here prior to the UTV's coming out.
It's hard to keep a drivers license riding a 2 stroke dirt bike on the street.  If you drive within the law they are VERY boring.
