What year do these fit???
« on: September 18, 2011, 04:13:28 AM »
I used to have several KX 250's. I have these parts left.
Can anyone identify the years. I do know these are from 1988-1991.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello.
I believe that cylinder is a 1992 KX250.
I have parted two 1992's out over the years and both were stamped 1671.
Check the pics out here:

I don't know about the crank, looks even newer then the cylinder..

The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

well the cylinder looks just like the one on my 89 250, my crank looks different though, maybe the crank is aftermarket or something...

Hey guys, what are the four numbers stamped on the side of your cylinders?
All of the cylinders of that era will look similar.
However, the porting and exhaust valve configuration is what will get you in a fix.
