I have a nice spare clutch casing I was going to cop up to make a 2 piece out of. I'd sell it.

I was looking for a spare to scan into the auto  cad program to start with.  I was going to make the outer cover a kx 450 cover since there are a lot of after market options and it would take a common gasket instead of a special one.  Let me know if you would like to part with it and how much.  Or possible trade for something you might need.

This is a great idea Alex!  Using a factory casting for the cover is the right way to go.  :-D

As Polar said, there really isn't much of a need to have one unless your are using it in competition. If you maintain your 500 properly and use quality parts they rarely fail.
Excellent point Don.  This has also been my experience.

Unfortunately, the 95 I just bought has a badly broken clutch cover that has been repaired with JB weld.
Before I buy a new factory sidecover, I'd love to see what kind of magic Alex can manage with a 2-piece cover.
