105 pilot jet marking ???
« on: June 26, 2011, 08:15:39 AM »
I just took apart my 1990 KX500 carb and found a 105 marking on the pilot jet? ??? I thought they were supposed to be in the 58 range....???
Does this sound right? Thanks ... Joe

Joko,
They don't make a 105 pilot for the PWK so something is not right. Are your eyes old like mine? I used to be able to read the numbers with no problem, but now.........

Something is definately wrong. There is NO jet that should be marked "105" in a KX500 . Can you post a pic ? Not to insult your intelligence but the pilot jet is the small jet down inside the bore that you need to use a small reg screwdriver to remove. This is the jet you are talking about correct ?
