Nice job!  I'm surprised the bike stayed in the truck the way you have it tied down! :-D

Nice!   Be sure to write back with the results, several guys (myself included) have heard of DEP but never saw the products, or how they compare to say an FMF or Pro-circuit pipe.

Pipe fit nice and snug, pleased with the fitment. it started to rust though so i clear coated it.

why buy a bike stand when you have a bucket, right?

Got the fork stops worked out, should get my spindle back mon or tues, then ill begin mounting the caliper. also i seem to be missing the little rubber bits that mount the bar holder and i wont be able to order new ones for a while :-(

"why buy a bike stand when you have a bucket"
Ha-ha!  I've only recently went to an old wooden box of sorts...
Been using buckets forever.  My only advice would be to watch out during summer. I had a "Bucket fail" due to heat.
The garage got pretty hot, the bucket got soft and collapsed... only happened once in like 15 years... :|
It was the XR 600, Kinda the Pre- Big Red Pig

Pipe looks good and the forks just needed shims... good deal.  Hope to hear a ride report soon!
  Take care,

Very nice build. Makes me want to get my build going. I have had a 95 250 frame laying around for over a year now. I need to get in gear and find another K5 engine to start my build.

I'm interested in a review of the dep pipe as well.
It's hard to keep a drivers license riding a 2 stroke dirt bike on the street.  If you drive within the law they are VERY boring.
