Owner of this site or admin.
« on: May 20, 2011, 03:40:25 PM »
Can the owner of the site contact me through PM or email? I want to donate $20 to the site to keep it going and I have posted a lot of pictures so instead of eating bandwidth I would rather donate $20 through paypal or mail it however?
Just an old guy that enjoys going fast, I was in the army for 6 years and bought my first K5 when I returned from basic training. I raced a yz60 from age 6 to 8  a kx80 from 8 to 12  a kx125 from 12-17 intermediate class on k5 which I've owned 3.

If I host my own pics on photobucket, does it still chow bandwidth when I post them? Because I am pic happy when I post and no admin. has given me any s#*t about it yet. But if I am doing something that is not appreciated I would like to be told not to so I can change it. otherwise, I will continue to post tons of pics so people can see what it is im talking about! But if that is messing the site up somehow then I will cut it out. like I said I host my own pics on Photobucket.
I too would also like to send a donation to the site, sniper1 has a good idea. Maybe the masters of the site could hold an annual fundraiser each year somehow. Or just have a spot on here with donation info for anyone who wants to chip in to keep this site not only floating, but making waves!

We need to make a 500 lovers convention! I would be there! let's hold it in veagas! That would kick tail!

It doesn't chew bandwidth if you post a link to webshots or photobucket but once you put the pictures on the forum it eats bandwidth and I am pic happy myself and if $20 will help me post guilt free it will be a cheap help to the site and I've seen great sites go away due to cost so I like this one and would like to help out hell I spend $20 on a couple packs of smokes.

I'm not grandstanding in anyway on this and since I'm a pic happy guy would like to throw something in the hat to keep my irresponsible ways going :) and help the site out since it's helped me out already. I'm not trying to start a trend or make waves or suggesting anyone else donate but want to help out for my own selfish reasons and figure the owner or admin would have a paypal account to make this easier.

 Hey Guys,
The Boss has (in the past) been running the place on his own dime as he did not want to have to worry about IRS issues and all.
I'm sure he'll post up as soon as his part of the country recovers from the recent tornado's.

Can he accept donations? non profit type club houses that I have been to had the donation sign up and a beer was a $2 donation lol a shot of whiskey was a $3 donation.

I wouldn't mind throwing a $20 spot at the site once a year and some guys might throw $2 or nothing depending on how they are doing, I'm only asking because I post a lot of pics and wouldn't mind helping out and I like this site I have a lot of things to do to my bike that will require this site to get through them :)
