i think its just because cause the springs are the heavy duty ones.

should i buy the msr pro raptor lever?
does it make a drastic change in effort to pull in the lever?

Well i went ahead and ordered the msr pro raptor from cheapcycleparts.com then i will go to the dealer to order a set of 6 oem clutch springs because i have the super heavy springs in it now and that is a contributing factor to the amount of effort it takes to pull in the clutch.

I had a really stiff clutch awhile back & was looking at the same type of setup , but didnt get it bought before the cable snap'd. I'd really look over the cable cause I'm betting it's frayed inside & thats whats making the clutch pull suck. I have the stiff springs too so I was thinking like you but the bike told me otherwise . Should be able to undo it from both ends & just see if it floats in the housing nice & smooth both ways.
if I only had a pair, I could actually ride this thing

& to the people I like  FYYFF

the cable is brand new with only 4 rides on it. i took the cable off and lubed it up and i saw on a post on kxriders where someone drills one extra hole in the lever for the cable for extra leverage so i tried that and it works alot better , but its still stiff (not nearly as stiff as before) and i will post after i get the MSR lever in and the oem springs. then ( i hope) ill be 100% sure that the clutch will be butter smooth.
