Another clutch question
« on: October 06, 2011, 01:54:27 AM »
Well, I got the new clutch basket for my 1992 KX 125. I put everything together, got it all torqued down and what not. I noticed there is quite abit of play between the clutch basket and the primary spur gear on the crankshaft. Is this normal? The last one didn't seem to do this.

Thanks, maseman__46

Can you tell us how much gap there is between the gears?
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

I have no way to tell for sure but if i had to guess, id say around a sixteeth to an eighth of an inch. Maybe a little less.
