Are the OEM Kawi fenders any better than aftermarket?  At twice the price, I would hope they are.

my 86 originals are still mint so maybe they are, although some cheap chinese r1 plastics have just been tested by performance bikes this month and the plastic quality/durability and fit were awesome to say originals would be ?2000 uk and chinese kit (complete 2010 r1 bodykit) was uk ?400.
And lo, I did loft the front wheel and carried it forth to the unbelievers, and cast it down before them and said unto them ''look now upon the might of my throttle control ye pitiful cretinous ones''
And the unbelievers did quake in their boots....

yes oem plastic is way better. the plastic on my 89 kx has been there since 89 and they have MINIMAL damage , the rear has some scuffing which is normal, the front fender has a very small rip on the front. and the shrouds are brand new OEM
on the other hand my 94 rm250s UFO (i believe) is all beaten to hell , with all kinds of discolouration , scuffs , breakage. and warpage.
