japan earth quake
« on: March 24, 2011, 07:49:36 PM »
as you have all heard, there has been an earth quake in japan causing a massive tsunarmi. i think we should all spare a thought for the people of japan, after all, the bikes we rider were developed and manufactured by them. On a more practical note, manufacturing has all but stoped in japan for now while they sort out there problems. this will mean that the parts that are in stock at the local dealers and distribution hubs are all we have and it will be getting for a while. i dont mean to sound corse but if you need some thing get sooner rather that latter. this may also have an effect on avilablity of new bike too.
i am sure you all will join me in wishing the japs a speedy recovery

x3... they are having a whole sh%tload of trouble with the reactor too, and despite what the media are aware of, this could still develop into a chernobyl sized mess on its own despite the quake and tsunami damage.the japanese still have a vivid memory as a collective people of the last time they had slightly more than background radiation back in 45. I wish them all good luck in their endeavours.K.
And lo, I did loft the front wheel and carried it forth to the unbelievers, and cast it down before them and said unto them ''look now upon the might of my throttle control ye pitiful cretinous ones''
And the unbelievers did quake in their boots....
