I'm gonna try the oven first, then the torch.
What I'm afraid of is cracking the case/breaking off the water pump cavity.  The aluminum is pretty thin around there.

Torch.     And continuously tap tap tap with a small ball peen hammer..   The heat, and minor shock from the hammer loosens stuff up good..

Minor tap tap..  Like weight of hammer (small one) dropped it's own weight from about 3" up...

Don't get it too hot...    Heat cycles are the key...   Expand, contract, expand , contract.....

  Dude,
I did the heat, Bang about 7 or 8 times, Then I remembered I had this Freeze spray stuff .  Heat case freeze bolt 2x's.
Also chomping away with the Vice grips.
What the heck...Found center of bolt best I could punched it.  Worse case senario was the insert...
I put a piece of cardboard on the workbench and tex screwed the case right to the bench.   :-o
Made a pilot hole and went three more sizes...
Look where the last drill came out ...They don't call me dead eye for nuthin'...well.. They don't call me dead eye,
 for obvious reasons!
Tapped in an easy out and POP!   :-o  I thought I snapped the case.
That buggar came out and never nicked the threads in the case.
Thank You Lord.. Can I Get an Amen out there!

What was left of the head before I decided to drill...

Thank God! I thought I was gonna bust that thing as sure as shootin'...
What was I gonna tell Chris was all I kept thinkin'

 Thanks Mo,

Submerse the phone in a sealed bag of rice & leave it for 2 days. I just learned of this & was told it has saved numerous devices.

 Well,
You have something to read to put you to sleep!
There really is alot of good info in there, it explains all about the fuel system and how it works, jetting etc.
If you are gonna get another bike you should get yourself a good torque wrench and take care of it.
The first one should read inch lbs. and a larger one later for Ft. lbs

A KTM Pro for $350,  That is a heck of a deal if it's the truth!  I think the KX will be on the back burner if you get the KTM.

All kidding aside, even the first part of the clymer has lots of explanation on how to use the tools properly and what you'll need to keep the bikes happy.

Maybe you could have your own section here on the site for  guys just starting out.  Us old guys forget what it was like and we could get you (or whomever) fast tracked ahead of all the mistakes we made when we were younger.
Sorry to hear about your phone Buddy.  I lost count how many devices my three kids went through.  Ipods Itouch palm s htc diamond Oiy!!! You know how many tools and parts I could have gotten!
Take Care My Friend, I'm expecting the H2o shaft today!

Actually I was reading it on the couch before. Not much on breaking in the bike though. THat half a page is all. I have a torque wrench but why would I need that for the ktm or the kx? Im not opening the engines anytime soon lol! No doubt the kx will be a faster bike and definetely my favorite. Not quite getting what you said about it being on the back burner. Keep in mind I am 14. haha! I understand. I will be looking forward to receiving the engine. Did the carb clip come in the mail yet?

At 14 you're very soon going to outgrow the KTM 50 and KX60. Just curious what size you currently are? I was a big kid at that age, I think I got my 350 at 13.

CM,
The carb is in a separate box that should have arrived with the manual. (I sent them the same day)
It might get there tomorrow.  I gave you the clip off my 500.  (It's in the wiseco bag with the carb.)
You can hook up the carb and cable and have it ready for the engine.
We're  waiting for the H2o pump Shaft.
Motosport said it was in stock and I usually get things from them fast.
They have a large warehouse about 200 mi. north of me in Bend Oregon.

 Hey Buddy,
The rice acts as a desiccant and draws the moisture out of the phone.
I got the funds today from our Philanthropist.  You will have made a young Brutha' very happy when this things
Fires up.  I matched the ports, (there were  no two alike) Matched the intake gaskets,  raised the exhaust 1.5mm and widened the exhaust to 21 mm & Opened up the exhaust flange to meet the crush ring marks.
