since u said you have no idea how to jet , i suggest you take it to a shop ( a shop charged me $60) to do the jetting.
you dont want to mess around with jetting cause you can make it run really lean and make the motor blow again which will SUCK HUGE .

now for the oil, ive heard synthetic makes the clutch slip cause syn. is more slippery than standard oil.
i personally use Bel-Ray Gear saver 85wt and its great, with perfect shifting.

Ok I bought the new uni air filter on ebay for 20 bucks and wen I get it Ill oil it then throw it in the case. the stuff im worried about when I get my engine back from tuck is the jetting issue and if the motor will work. Also when I connect the carb to the bike and connect the throttle cable and screw the top back on...I pull the throttle and it goes down but doesnt go back up...is it cause of no gas?

That's a little better...  Crank is in the freezer,  looking for something to fit the crank bearing for heat application.
Dropping in the crank and Closing up the case tomorrow.

 Wer're getting there...

Wow Tuck thanks so much! Im gonna go out to a store and look for the right oil for the bike. Im gonna run just regular lawnmower 32:1 oil in the bike with super gas mix. THen im gonna go out to the store and look for a 10w30...any sugestions on what one I should get? I should probably get a good break-in oil? synthetic or no? Tuck, what do you use in your kx60? THanks.

Ok went to the store and got just mobil regular 10w30 and made sure it didnt say energy conserving in the circle on the back cause thats what causes clutch slippage. All I needa do is go to the gas station and get a gallon and make the mix and im ready for when the engine arrives.

Whoa there fella...The motor oil is for the Transmission...  Stop running out and buying stuff.
Step back from the keyboard and take a deep breath!

The Air filter was a good Idea, not knowing what condition your present filter is in.

We have lots to talk about. let me e-mail you and we'll get this worked out.

I don't want to waste Dangers Bandwith.

You can be getting the rest of your bike ready to ride.   I would like you to get a small plastic bag and wrap up the needle and slide hanging from the frame.   I didn't realize you didn't know how to disconnect it and keep it with the carb.

Your going to need a few things you will be able to use.

  1)   A Ratio Rite Measuring cup.  This comes in handy for all kinds of things.

  2)  Readily available Synthetic Two Stroke Pre-Mix Oil

Is there a motorcycle shop near you that you can get to?   If you have to you, can get oil through E-bay.

Automotive places sell pre-mix too.    Let me/us   know what is available.  we'll find an oil that you can get easily,
so you don't have to wait for the brown truck.

  One step at a time...

and i recommend you mix the gas shortly before you get the bike ready so the gas dont go old

Whaaa? im confused?? I bought the oil to pour into the crankcase where it says 0.6L. And the thing that really confuses me is that I sent the needle and gold slide thing with the spring already attached when I sent the carb out. I disconnected it from the throttle cable and connected it to the carb. I already have the gas oil mix at 32:1 and ready to go....why would i need that ratio rite cup? I dont really have much money to keep throwing into the bike again. Thanks.

Thats a Big NO-No there chris..    Never run mower/weed eater/ chainsaw oil in a dirt bike...
