I'm afraid to clean the air filter........you saw what happened the last time I did........If I try to clean it I might end up with a 550cc with fuel injection, overdrive 6th, and a Danny Hamel seat.... :wink:

With all the K5 research/projects and quest for more power that you do,I'm really surprised you have'nt gone that route yet.....but then again,it would'nt surprise me if you have something even more radical brewing in the shop. :?

did I ever mention how fast my KX ended up being?....hahahaha

The last time I went on a group ride my MX buddy that used to race took her for a spin.... and he is pretty talented on 2 wheels......My bike sounds better when I'm off it than it does when I'm riding it......

He got back from his little ride on my bike and he said "thats pretty nice bike".....

You have to understand my friend Mike......he is a very calm, dry, quiet person......so when he says "thats pretty nice bike".....its like me saying "Holy @#$% 5hit!!!! That is the meanest S.O.B I've ever riden!!!!"

OK here is a question for all of you........My CR500AF (dont freak, this is a KX question) came with a Keihin 38mm PJ carb....The popular upgrade for this bike is a Keihin 39mm PWK.  I was gonna buy a PWK for my Honda but before I do I was wondering if I should just yank the 39mm PWK off my KX for the CR and buy a Sudco Keihin 41mm PWK for the KX.

I'll expect my evil mechanical yoda (motorrad) to chime in on this since he would know better....after all he is the one that gave birth to my motor. However any advice or opinions are always welcome.

For all my loyal readers I am pleased to announce that the "Project I was only gonna clean the air filter!" thread lives once again.....BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
