I got it into 4th at 3/4 throttle yesterday and then ran out of road at about warp speed!!  I know of a long fire road near my house that I will open her up.

Tehachapi is not so bad......low 90's.  Mojave is another story.......

Bike went on its final break in ride today.  First off, I have been torque checking the head nuts and cylinder nuts each and every heat cycle/ride and they have not moved at all.

Second, the bike is a rocket with a healthy 50/50 mix of 100LL and 91 octane........It sounds WICKED!!

Hey OX, are you near by?

No contest brother.......KX is an animal.......HOWEVER...................... :-D

since you've never had your hands in a CR500 we might have to do some experimenting once you return....Told Alex that we could send him measurments and specs so that he can try to adapt the MZB for the CR500 crowd.

Enjoy the trip dude........We'll hold the fort while you're away.

Some people don't like ebay.....I however love ebay when I find cool stuff like what I bought today.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/280906285596?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

It is not easy finding stuff for a motorcycle that was designed in 1987 and discontinued in 2004.....

I almost bought one from Scotts Performance for $140!!  That BRP should look awsome once I shine her up!! :-D
