Nothing like walking in the dark and see a coon 3 feet from me. So i ran back into my shop. This thing would not leave. He didn't like it when i blasted him with some r-22.

get your self a box type trap. chances are he will be back on a regular basis. if you catch him you can leave him in the trap for a couple of hours and harass him while he's in there.
That should condition him not to come back. Make sure theres no food or garbage that isnt tightly contained in the area.

If you looking for a more crude and effective method, then a .45 acp hollow point should work nicely....

As COLD weather you have that R22 probably felt like a heater to him!  :-o

Reminds of a Buddy who went to see a friend who moved out west & was leaving his house at night, while walking to his truck he heard "Rattle,Rattle,Rattle" , totally dark out side, no Moon Light & couldn't see this thing, so he stood still & squealed for our Buddy to come resque him, he came with a light & some Magnum Shells. He mentioned, Oh Yeah that happens all the time!  :-o

I feed the raccoons around here which drives the neighbors nuts
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.
