KX80 Lost Gears
«

Was riding my sons KX80 1985, put it into neutral, now will not go into any gear. The bike had lost fourth already, it felt like neutral but we could step up past it from third into fith. Any ideas on why I can't get it into gear ? Have been told that a selector spring may have come off ? No idea what this means.
Thanks for your help.

I agree with jonny, sounds like a grenaded tranny. in any case take the clutch cover off and inspect your shifter shaft and selector spring. best of luck

Just picked up a set from Ebay uk for ?4.99, now just got to fit, ordered them as I knew I had lost fourth, but still don't quite understand why won't go into any gear, with or without use of clutch ?
