The only two riding type hobbies I have is the KX500 and downhill mountain biking.

Here in Idaho, the ski resorts add racks to the chair lift and, for a small daily fee, you can ride the chair lift up and the bike down.  Top speed to date coming down the side of the mountain on a ski run on the full suspension mountain bike is 44 MPH.    Way to fast in spandex.  We have only had one bad crash, and that was my brother in law.  We found his bike hanging in a tree 10 feet up, and he had a compound fracture of his lower arm.    Ended his riding for a while, but it was the last day of the season, and we were the last ones down the mountain.  What a way to end the summer....

As for street bikes, I promised my wife that if she let us get nuts in the dirt, I would stay off the street, so no street bike for me.

Demographic realises that his nip to work bike is slightly embarrassing and backs slowly out of the thread, hoping that nobody spots the fact that he was ever there

I have a Honda CB 125 twin that I can go to work on for about a week and it uses less petrol than my KX would in about half an hour, I can also leave it outside and if it gets nicked it was so cheap that it would not be worth claiming on the insurance cos the excess is only 25 quis less than I paid for it......

There, I have admitted it, Happy now?

OK so it would not pull the skin off a rice pudding but it's cheap and that means that I can spend more on the KX :D .........

And the new house........

Oh, and I need double glazing for the new house........

And central heating........

The loft conversion looks expensive also, even though I am doing a lot of it myself...........

Could do with a new shed........

Bugger, no wonder I am so skint

I've always wanted a CB twin. I purchased a CB750 four K. Needed carb work and I fixed it and have not yet put it back together. :-( I'd like to have a small bike to ride around on..
