1991 KX 500

Today i went in halfs on a KX500 with my dad. It was previously owned by Matt Crown and shes a beauty with lots of new goodies. I got to ride her today and she runs Grrrrrreat!

The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

I think I'll keep riding in the sand, it's warmer and a whole lot softer..... :-D

FMF Gnarly Desert? What #s are stamped in the pipe? I am trying to discern the difference between the "Torque" & the "Desert" by visual indications. Yours does not appear to have the double turn underneath the tank as the Torque & Stocker has.

yup its a gnarly but i cant see the numbers on it because there is a metal plate covering the place where there letters are stamped. ill take it off tomorrow and take a look for you though.

Good looking bike. Are you racing it this year? Wish I could get mine on the ice I miss it that's for sure :( Don't have the money for good ice tires. Maybe next winter.
It's hard to keep a drivers license riding a 2 stroke dirt bike on the street.  If you drive within the law they are VERY boring.

I think Ill stick to the warm weather myself... yikes that looks cold... NICE BIKE though..

102-020055 is whats on my Gnarly Woods pipe...

The desert should be 020038   (should be his with that straight section)
