« on: January 05, 2011, 04:18:02 AM »
can anyone tell me if this carb will be suitable for my 88 k5 from the number on it?
It reads PWK V461CG29. How do you know which is for what bike?

Hello.
KEIHIN PWK V4610H05 came off a 1989 KX500 so my guess is that it will.
What is the ID measurement?

Just because the KTM originally came with a DELORTO VHSB38 does not mean that somebody with a bad carb didn't swap it to go riding  :-D
Or, perhaps he thought the Keihin is a better carb  :?
Here is a chart that may help you correctly ID it.
