kx 500??

This is my first time posting so if I'm out of line then my apologies. This is for any one who can help. I have a problem with my 98 kx 500 when I have it opened all the way in 5th gear it seems to studder. Meaning it speeds up then bogs down and speed up again. In the lowers gears it seems ok or at least I haven't noticed the problem. The motor it self is completely stock(stock piston and rings). I did add a boysen rad valve and reed with a pro circuit pipe(platinum) a silincer(304). Could this be a jetting problem? Is there any KX specialist in town where I can have my bike dialed in without having to guess if it's setup correctly? Thanks for your help guys & gals.

Hows it rev up out of gear?I dont see why it would only do it in 5th,may be starving for fuel?Have you gone through the carb?

Thank guys. I've taken the carb apart and it was pretty clean on the inside. I'm sure it's a jetting problem but I just can't get it right. The bike has been parked for about 12 months now.( the problems started before it was parked) When I was layed off from work then had my truck stolen I didn't have a ride or the money to get it fixed. Now that everything is back to some what normal I can start riding again. Do you guys know of any good shops in the valley where I can get a good tune up and have it running perfect again.
