KX60 clutch lever question.
« on: May 03, 2004, 12:21:32 PM »
A couple of months ago we adquired a KX60 for our 8 year old son. He had been ridding a PW50 and later a PW80 with no problems. When he got the KX60, he quickly learned the clutch and now rides pretty good, but the clutch lever is not adjustable in a way that he can easily modulate the clutch in hills etc. I adjusted the clutch for little travel and put a stop ( tie-wrap ) in the lever mount to keep it close to his hand, as he has small hands, but still he can not modulate the clutch very well.
Is there a clutch lever system that allows for more positive adjustment. I have a street bike that has a lever to grip distance adjustment, but it`s hydraulic. Any ideas ?
