Best handling 125 class bike out there?
« on: December 01, 2010, 04:41:41 AM »
Those of you that know, in your opinion, what is the best handling 125/250f class bike out there? Like maybe the 2005 RMZ250 or the 2003 KTM125SX. What bike gets your vote as the best handling lites bike out there of all time? If there is a 250 class bike that out-handles everything, list that also- leaning towards 125 for weight savings, but want cornering/whoops/overall high speed handling prowess above all.

My MX bike of choice is a '08 or newer YZ125 lightest in its class, broadest most useable power as well. Ktm's are cool, but they don't handle the rough stuff as well as a yami. They can be made to work, but it takes a knowledgable suspension shop. I've never liked the 250f's, there faster, but a lot more boring to ride. A good rider can make a 125 work, but you will get stomped if your competition is comparable in skill.

What workes for me, probably wont work for you, so my advice....ride 'em all and make up your own mind.
