The gutters are up.
Next week we will tie them into the drainage.


Just found out today that our upstairs joists (2x12) were suppose to be 12" on center.
The contractor put them in at 16" on center.
So, he has to put in more joists to get the 125lb per foot rating that the city requires for storage space.
It's a bummer because we don't need 42 tons of capacity for that floor space.
We can have the floor re-engineered but we would have to go through the city process and it's actually cheaper, faster, and easier to just add the extra joists.
The city should be doing some more inspections today so we should be go for insulation, drywall on the ceiling, and OSB on the walls next week.
Also, we should be ready to dig up the street to run drainage next week so we are getting closer.

Why would you feel the need to heat "HOT" water? Generally cold water is fed into the tank which then heats the water. Hence "water heater" :-) Couldn't resist.
