Are you looking for the company to plate only or prep, plate and grind to finish size?

Oh!
I thought you might have the grinding equipment and do it yourself.   If you did have the equipment, I have a buddy who does most of the hard chrome in our area.

Hello.
You can use a process called Electrochemical Metallizing.
These guys here are masters at it: http://www.o-e-m.net/index.html
It can be less expensive than plating depending on how bad the journals are.

I think Kaw Rider is looking for a chrome repair not a metallized repair.
chrome = 60 to 65 rockwell
metalized = 30 to 40 rockwell

Good point.
However, check to hardness of the journal.
Going beyond the hardness of the base metal does not really gain you much if anything at all.
If the bearing journal was the same hardness or anywhere close to chrome there would be a high risk of hydrogen embrittlement.

I'm only going to be using the crank for the testing and there a go chance that the crank will be a paper weight after the testing is done. Hate to spend the money on new crank and then have expensive paper weights.
