martinfan30, check out this post of the subframe mod I posted a while back: http://www.kxriders.com/forums/index.php/topic,7384.msg56415.html#msg56415

Stainless steel is the best thing to use for this application.

Ok, thanks Tom!

Neither are stock, and both are great desert bikes.

Took her out today... WOW. I have never had a bike with the suspension set up for me specifically. I can't tell you what a difference in handling and stability it made! I haven't ridden in almost a year, and I felt faster than before! Not to mention the power!

Met up with some friends on crf450's. Need I say how it turned out? LOL they kept wanting to drag over and over. I think I hurt their feelings...

Thanks! Ya it was kinda funny. Not only did I pull the hole shots off starting in second, but every upshift (including fifth) brought the front end up. Then it just kept pulling, and pulling... Increasing the lead the whole time! I am in love! LMAO

Very well done. Makes me want to re-do my bike again.
It's hard to keep a drivers license riding a 2 stroke dirt bike on the street.  If you drive within the law they are VERY boring.
