Anyone have dynamic balancing of crank/piston assembly done?

Falicon performs a dynamic balancing service for a KX500 crank and top end assembly (piston, rings, wrist pin, etc.) for $240 (includes crank rebuild, excl. parts). I'm wondering if it's a worthwhile modification in reducing vibration in comparison to just trueing the crank? Anyone have any experience with this mod.?

If it does make it smoother it would be worth it to me.  I recently had Forward Motion redo my crank for 135 so Falicon would need to do something major for the additional 105 bucks.

Did the Forward Motion crank work make it noticeably smoother than stock?

Can't say yet.  The motor's still apart.  I do know that the old crank had a worn journal which caused excessive vibration.  I expect it will be different but by how much I don't know.

If the Top-End and Crank parts are included...it's a great deal.

The bike is way smoother with the new crank.  Vibration is down at least 50%.

I also had FM redo my lower motor and it killed about 50% also, but that last 50% was killing me.  So, after a few mods, I'm down to about 10%. I bearly even notice it.

I just got my motor back from B&B Racing which did a crank rotating mass balancing.  I haven't got it back in the bike yet, but I'll let you know how it feels when it gets fired up!
