Site window Piston
« on: September 16, 2010, 01:59:59 AM »
Greetings, I've been rebuilding my 5 for the last couple weeks, frame off.
The problem is, I would like to do the top end with a site window mod, and cant get ahold of Jerry @ jfab motorsports.
I've called, Left Voicemails and emails. Cannot get ahold of him. Does anyone know anywhere else I'm able to order a site window piston? Please call me at 480-809-767(four) or email me at mwalker4338@gmail.com

Thanks all.

I see, I will have to hold off on the engine for now, there are plenty of other parts I can be sinking my $$ into for this frame off rebuild. Thank you.

I've heard the Wiseco windowed piston is the hot ticket.  Plus 3hp on the dyno.  Getting ready to do the top end on my bike, I'm definately running with one.

Kaw rider,

Do you have any insight on the head mod discussed here on the board? Do you preform this type of machining? If so, what would you charge me if I shipped you my head? What would you charge for one of your heads and what needs to be done to the timing?

Thanks
-Maurice.

yes i can machine your head. Depends on what you use the motor for. My heads are machined different then the ones on here. I would play with the timong to see what you like.

Well, she was running rough at first. I found that the clip for the carb needle in the slide was bent to hell. The needle was sitting way lower than It should have been. A new clicp from ace hardware fixed that and shes running prime!
