New Tire changing stand
« on: September 12, 2010, 03:31:13 PM »
Built myself a new tire changing stand today...  Finaly got tired of crawling around on the floor with them..

Was going to go the 14" wheel route, but figured I could one up it..

Got this Keg on craigslist for FREE...  its rubber coated on bottom and top... THICK RUBBER... so no scratching of spokes...

Cut the bottom out.....

wala....

Good points
1. Free
2. Made from stainless, so I can kick it outside when not in use, and not worry about rust etc.
3. Can run a piece of Bar stock through the wheel (bearings) and into the dip tube to act as a stay.
4. ???
