Big end tolerences
« on: August 20, 2010, 01:48:36 PM »
Can anybody give me the clearances for the big end? There's absolutely no up and down play which how it should be, but I'd like to check the side clearances are within limits.
I bought a brand new KX250 back in '87 and shortly after freshening up the top end half way through the season, the rod snapped and shot straight through the crankcases. It happened to two other people I knew. Kawasaki put it down to excessive side clearance. Kinda paranoid about it now!
