Well, I have to tell Ya, My boys will be 19 & 20 in Nov.
My Daughter just turned 11 in July. I think my youngest got the benefit of the mistakes we made with the boys and having such a large age gap, she seemed to progress much faster having her older siblings help raising her unknowingly.
What I mean is we never had the boys babysit her, however there was no one in the home "acting" her age.
Now I'm not saying the boys were so mature, but they were almost a decade older, so there was not alot of baby talk and writing on the walls with sharpie and crayon stuff. And no one was vying for attention et al.
Oh, and the boys also knew that if they were messing with the little dog on the porch, they were messing with the Big Dog on the porch!
No picking on your sister, or else your messing with ME!
