500AF Wheelbase & Rake
« on: July 17, 2010, 09:47:27 AM »
Still collecting parts for my build and getting closer to making my frame mod's.
I've been reading all of these builds and haven't read anthing on the topic of preserving the wheelbase and rake measurements - having these numbers duplicated "after" the build.
Any of the KX500AF builders out there documenting numbers before, during and after the cutting and welding?
Are these aluminum perimeter frames tightening (closing) up after the cut or is it springing (spreading) out?

on my build I kept my rake the same as stock was, Its just as easy as following the head stem tragectory all the way down with the new frame cradle. and as far as wheel base who cares longer the better I guess its a 500!
