Hey Kawdude...are there any good places to ride over in your neck of the woods? Over my way in east peoria(tazewell co.), you might as well count on your bike being impounded. peoria(peoria county) isn't so bad. I am going to return to my old stomping grounds to see if it is possible to ride there. This would be in very north peoria near interstate bypass 474. When I was a teenager, 474 was being built. That was dirtbike heaven for miles!

I usually go to tayorville or ottawa if I want to ride at a park.  If if don't do that my parents farm around Princeton IL and have 120 acres to buzz around on.  I currently am involved in building a track there for my son.  So to answer your question, Bloomington-Normal doesn't have swat.  Isn't there a place in Pekin?

If you guys are from the midwest try the Badlands in Attica IN. Some woods trails, good climbs for IN. and sand pits. They once had real nice walls to clime, I have a pic of a 50' wall climb floating arround I did there when I was younger.

I've been thinking of heading down that way.  It's about 3 hour drive for me and I have heard good things about the area.  I'd like to see that pic.  Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks for the info monkeybutt, one would think with all the farming in the midwest it would be easy to find places to ride. But everyone scared to death about getting sued if you get hurt on their land.
