Help
« on: June 13, 2010, 02:30:17 AM »

Im after a pair of cases for a 1988 250 F1 ,  When i got the bike it came with the engine that was suppose to be running , yea right needless to say thats a paper weight  :-( , ok i got myself a runing bike in March of this year rode it all ok a little rough but it ran ok with no noises.

Got it home and stripped it and yes it was running but stripped the engine and the end of the crank is toast and the cases are too battered to make a good repair  :-( :-( :-( :-(.

So fokes is there any fellow KX owner out there with a pair of 250 F1 cases in good condition that they want to sell and ship over the pond to the uk ???

i have made a mistake, the cases in the photo are from an 88 125. i do have a set for a 250 but there from a 89 i think they are the same but not 100%. i will check the part numbers on a site i know.

i just checked the part No on the 88 and 89 cases and they dont match. then i though about it. they could be the same but because of the engine No being different the part No would be different. so i then checked other parts in the engine. crank piston gear shafts clutch, flywheel covers and gaskets and  could not find a single difference any where. i am am 99.999 % sure that they are a match. let me know and i will pop a photo on here of them. if my memory serves me, they are in better condition that the 125 set
