?hlins suspension

Hi!

I just got a 04 kx250 with ?hlins suspension.
My problem now is that i don?t know if the suspension still has the stock number of clicks for adjusting?!

 Hey T,
 Just turn the clickers all the way one direction until the clicker stops, start turning the adjuster the other direction while counting the # of clicks.
  (if you start counting the # of clicks as you move the first time you can always just put it back) 
I know this sounds silly, but... get a small notebook and start writing down your adjustments and how the suspension worked.   It's way too easy to get distracted or forget where you started :wink:.!
  And just like any other tuning, one adjustment at a time so as not to muddle your results!

 You might also consider setting the sag  (for your weight with gear) before making any adjustments.   It's just so you have a baseline to start from.

Isn?t there the danger for the adjusters to fall out if i turn them too far?

Thats no problem. When adjusting, turn 2 or 3 click each time.

A simple thing I've learned is to count the bump going in to a turn.
If your suspension feels hard in the first few bumbs, its compresson.
If your suspension feels hard in the last few bumbs, its the rebound.
This a simple and ruf way to adjust. :-D
