You could pop rivet a piece of aluminum or steel angle iron where the chain is hitting the subframe.

After looking very closely at some pictures of Destrys KX 500 desert race bike I spotted that this is what his bike has so if it's good enough for him............

I have never had a OEM subframe on my bike before, but I do know the AC Racing aluminum subframes clear the chain. I've had two different ones and never had chain wear problem.

As far as I've heard though, AC subframes are cheap? Not loop worthy. :-)

The sub frame rub is an age old problem, and I used a some angle aluminum as mentioned above and never had the problem again.

Very true!!! They fit great and have not chain rub, but will bend if you just look at them wrong. :(

i just put on a 1/8 inch thihk piece of teflon with some self tapping screws so i can replace it when it wears out. i will let you all know how it holds up once i get my bike back together and start riding again.
