Hi All,
I have been enjoying this forum very much. Lots of nice people and good info. I am from Kamloops, British Columbia Canada (pop. 70K). I'll have to try to hook up with Ken for a ride. I ride a stock '92 with .42 springs in the front and boysen reeds. I'm 43 years old, 5'10" 200 lb and been riding for 30+ years, raced for 15 or so. Was provincial intermediate 500cc MX champ way back in '79. Raced in the Kingdome a couple of time. Now I'm totally washed up and slow. Actually raced bikes like huskys, montessas and maicos way back when. Kamloops has deluxe riding. Base elevation is 1100ft but you can go from mud to sand to snow to above tree line in one ride. Kamloops is a desert area. supposedly the northern most tip of the Mojave or something like that, with it's own cactuses (OK so they're small). Temp ranges from -20C to +44C. Great riding is about 10min from my house. I'm jetted leaner on the bottom with a 58 pilot, needle clip at the top and stock 168 main. Wife and 2 boys all have bikes. My biggest challenge is getting used to taking big air again. Been tempted to stud up the KX and get back out on the ice (there is a winter race series) but I end up skiing lots instead (it just started snowing here).
