Hi All,
I was having some trouble gettin my k5 hundy to run right. Granted- I`m far from a bike expert but am mechaniclly inclined.
I thought my spark was a little weak so I checked all my grounds. No change.
I pulled my stator after buyin a new puller cuz my is lost in the abiss some call a garage and there was a lil, and I mean a little
oil behind it. I cleaned it up and put it back together with timing marks straight up.
I know if I was to ask a pro he would say do a leak down test but I admit, I am not only crazy but also lazy.
I had a homemade dail-a-jet on the bike when I got it and have recently done away with it.
Now there is a 168 M and a 58 P with a 82 N needle clip position 2 air screw at 1 1/2 out.
I am a lil rich still and will try a 82 M needle and then plug chop it to see how that is.
I made myself a fuel level tester with a extra bowl plug and the level is even or a touch above the top of the bowl line.
If anyone has any ideas other than quit bein a lazy ass shout out.
It`s in Utah the elevation is about 4000 or 4500 feet.
There is a pro circut works pipe, stock baffle.
She has been sleeved. There`s nuttin fancy that I know of done to her.
