Hi from England!
« on: April 21, 2010, 09:22:02 AM »
Hi there! My name is Blakes (Marc really) and I'm 29 yrs old from England.

I've been looking over this forum for a month or so now and have recently bought a 1992 KX 250 which is in bits because a previous owner siezed the top end by running it on neat petrol! I only paid ?80 for it ($120) and got a Clymer manual given with it! I was originally told it was a 1993 model but after cross referencing some of the parts I've found that they are 1992 parts, so it must be a 1992 bike however, I can't seem to find the year of the frame, it's probably a 1992 but when I put the frame number in the Kawasaki year/model finder on the website it says VIN/HIN not found. The frame number is KX250J-000201 if anyone can give me a definate year for it :-).

I also own a 1985 Yamaha YTZ250N (Tri Z) which I'm currently stripping down to re-build, and I've got a 2008 Suzuki GSX-R600. This is my first Kawasaki  8-)

Anyhow, I look forward to hearing from you all, and me moaning about how expensive new radiators are for a 1992 KX 250!!

Cheers, Blakes  :-)
