99 KX-500 My Coil is 11 years old,its still works good.But while i have the tank off.Should i replace the coil due to age and if so. should i go back with a stock coil. Or after market a hotter coil. Come on guys let me know what you think.

i have not tested any aftermarket coil as good as the stock coil ... nor have i seen a stock one fail yet

I have had a stock coil go bad , when mine went the bike would start but would not rev , as you tried to give it throttle it would fall on its face. I have never tried those monster coils on ebay , but I have heard they aren't as great as they claim. CBX
Yep, you can ride it - if YOU can start it !!
