front sand tire-----WOW!!!!!!!!!

i rode a buddys bike this past saturday. it had the front sand tire with the three ribs. wow! what a ride. i loved it. wherever you pointed the bike thats where it went. i will get one for my kx as soon as possible. hope this helps someone else in their decision. the front tire floated on top of the sand. i fell in love with that tire

I'd invest in one if the front tire touched the sand more when I rode the dunes. Most of the time it's a few feet off the ground.

what about high speeds? Anyone try the AMS sand snake? I would think the longer knobby in the center would help in the corners without sacraficing high speed handleing.

i have had one for 5-6 years now. i got it for looks. it really makes the bike look like a dune machine. i switch back and forth several times ( to lazy to mount it every time ). i noticed no difference in handling over a standard mx tire. actually it seems to have less flotation at slower speeds. cost is around $50.

Anyone try the AMS sand snake?

i would like to try one.
